Summary:
Don Best Sports is looking for an
enthusiastic Live In-Play Sports Trader to join our dynamic sports information
team.
You will be responsible for the
trading of live games, testing and overseeing automated algorithms and game
data for In-Play live games across all six major American sports.
A passion and in-depth knowledge of
American sports and trends are a must, as is the availability to work around
the sporting calendar.
Experience is not necessary, as
training will be provided. This is a truly unique role for an enthusiastic and
committed individual who wishes to make a profession from their passion.
Responsibilities:
- Trading of In-Play American sports games on
behalf of 3rd party clients
- Continually monitoring live trends, game situations
with a view to ensuring the quality and accuracy of the generated data
- Make informed decisions pertaining to the trading of
the live game data
- Ensure clients receive a quality service and clear
communication lines
- Participate effectively in regular feedback sessions
with clients
- To carry out all reasonable requests and objectives to
an acceptable standard

Summary:
Working
from the Las Vegas Office, the successful candidate will provide phone and email support for the various Don Best services, perform research on sporting events, and provide internal support when needed.
Responsibilities:

Research sporting events to support our flagship applications
Responds
to and logs telephone calls for assistance from end users regarding software
problems

Assist
end users in adjusting their firewalls/security systems to work with our applications

Summary:
Don Best Sports is looking for an enthusiastic QA Developer to join our Software Development team.
You will be responsible for designing, creating, documenting, and executing test plans of a proprietary automated odds generation software, as well as the UI and the incoming and outgoing feeds.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the functionality of the a
proprietary automated odds generation software, as well as the User
Interfaces and the incoming and outgoing feeds
- Test the effects in performance of various types of
coding changes, both in speed and accuracy
- Write Test Plans based on functional specifications,
design documentation, discussions with the Product Developers
- Troubleshoot and reproduce functional, user-level
issues
- Document defects found during testing, with clear
directions on what steps were executed during those tests
- Assess the level of severity of issues found during
testing
- Analyze reported bugs to determine if they are software
defects, data issues, other non-software related issues, or if the product
is working as designed
- Design QA tools to automate the on-going testing of the
data going in and out of the core model software
Skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Quality
Assurance testing experience
- Relevant BA/BS or equivalent
technical training and professional work experience
- Background in the testing an
enterprise-wide, core product used by external and internal clients
- Experience writing Test Plans, and a
familiarity with testing methodologies and concepts
- Demonstrated ability to follow
established processes and to provide recommendations for adjustments to those
processes based on execution
- Able to work independently, as part
of the software development team, and as part of the larger product team that includes
such groups as product management and operations
- Proven interpersonal, analytical,
attention to detail/strategy, and creative problem-solving skills

- This position requires professional

venue data, and scores.

information

- Monitor in-game events for injuries and scores
- Monitor the Don Best client program to ensure data is delivered properly
